Can't I Just Use Forms on the Internet to Prepare My Will Living Will or Power of Attorney?
You can, but you shouldn't. The reason you shouldn't is because using forms of the internet may not qualify as legal under Florida law, and having an attorney who knows Florida law and can prepare them properly and will stand up to scrutiny in court, is what is most important when preparing wills, living wills, and power of attorneys. As evidenced by the celebrities that have problems not preparing a will, it is important to have an attorney review these wills, living wills, power of attorneys, health care surrogates, and other estate planning documents, to make sure that they are done right.
