Firm Overview
Craig A. Epifanio became a lawyer because he knew that he wanted to help people. The longer he practiced law, the more he realized that most people who need a lawyer are really just good people who have found themselves in unfortunate situations. As your lawyer, his goal is to uphold justice by aggressively protecting your rights, whether you are dealing with:
- DUI
- Sex-related crimes
- Federal crimes
- Drug possession and trafficking
- Gun and weapon charges
- Domestic battery
- Theft or robbery
- Burglary
- Violations of probation
- Juvenile offenses
- Traffic and criminal traffic violations
- Personal injuries
- Wills or trusts
Mr. Epifanio began his legal career in 1997 at the Pinellas-Pasco County Florida, Public Defender's Office, where he gained invaluable experience trying a full range of cases for clients who needed an aggressive lawyer to defend their rights. He then moved to a personal injury firm where he represented those injured in accidents and those pursuing PIP claims against insurance companies.

Seeking Dismissal Where Possible in Criminal Defense MattersWhile every individual's case is different, the primary goal of your criminal defense is to get the charges dismissed, where possible. We are also not afraid to go to trial in order to achieve a not guilty verdict. However, we understand that even if your case may not just "go away," we do everything possible to minimize the consequences of your case.
Attorney Craig A. Epifanio carefully reviews the evidence related to your arrest, interviews witnesses, and zealously attacks the weaknesses in the prosecution's case. As your lawyer, he will scrutinize the prosecutor's case and be on the lookout for coerced confessions, illegal searches and seizures and arrests made with no probable cause.
Reassuring, Responsive Client ServiceWhether you are dealing with a criminal defense, traffic, juvenile defense, a personal injury or an estate planning matter, Mr. Epifanio will take the time to listen to your concerns and then help you understand your rights and make informed decisions. We are committed to responding to you in a timely manner and making sure you are regularly updated on your case.
As a former President of the Pinellas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (PACDL), he maintained relationships with all those involved in the criminal justice legal community — including judges, prosecutors, and other criminal defense attorneys. Attorney Epifanio knows the court system and always seeks to get the best resolution possible for each individual client.
Mr. Epifanio has been able to use his real world practical experience in the legal field as well. For example, as an avid motorcycle enthusiast (he rides a Kawasaki Vulcan), Mr. Epifanio often talks to people that have either been accused of crimes on their motorcycle or have been injured by other drivers while on their motorcycle. He is able to personally understand their stories better than most attorneys due to his personal experiences as a rider.
